| News | | Elizabeth Avenue Welcomes New Business | | 5.4.2012 |  Elizabeth Avenue welcomed Charmiss, a full line beauty product and accessories store to its retail mix today. Mayor Chris Bollwage was on hand to provide a toast (flavored sparkling water) and to congratulate the new owner, Sam Hwang, welcoming him to Elizabeth Avenue and to the City of Elizabeth. Mr. Hwang also owns a business on Ferry Street in Newark and is very happy to be located here in Elizabeth. Mr. Hwang happened into Elizabeth and was so excited to see how clean and vibrant Elizabeth Avenue was, noting both Leonardo Jewelers and Caribe Bakery, that he was determined to open a business here.(photo from Left to right: Sam Hwang, Councilman Manny Grova and the Mitros' (flanking the Mayor).
