Dust Off "Old Man Winter" and get ready to "Swing-into-Spring" with the EAP on Thursday - May 5t
The Elizabeth Avenue Partnership (EAP) is set to embark on its 4th Annual Golf Outing featuring a “Cinco de Mayo” theme set for Thursday - May 5, 2016 at the Galloping Hill Golf Course in Kenilworth, NJ, which will be chock full of surprises both on and off the course.

The outing will feature two exciting hole-in-one prizes - first, a chance to win $10,000 from the State Farm Insurance Agency of Angel L. Rodriguez, located at 815 Elizabeth Avenue, Elizabeth and secondly, a chance to win a brand new Mercedes Benz compliments of Ray Catena Mercedes Benz of Union. There will also be several hospitality tents located throughout the course including Marriott and Double Tree Hotels along with Alligator Property Management which will all provide golfers with snacks, drinks and giveaways.

“I’m thrilled to sponsor the "$10,000 Hole in-One-Contest" once again, said Angel L. Rodriguez of the Angel L. Rodriguez State Farm Insurance Agency. “We’re hoping to attract many golfers to our outing again this year all of whom would love an opportunity to win this prize.”

“It’s important to provide a fun-filled day for your golfers on the course and give them opportunities to win great prizes and enjoy themselves on the course said Rodriguez, who also serves on the EAP Board of Directors.

All proceeds from this major fundraiser will go toward supporting the organization’s mission of revitalizing the Elizabeth Avenue shopping district through beautification, safety, security, parking and event programming.

The EAP and Golf Committee Chairman, Emerson Amador, believes the Annual Golf Outing is a great way to bring together members of the business community as well as public and private sectors together for a great day of fun, golf, giveaways, prizes and a delicious barbecue lunch.

“The EAP funds many projects throughout the year,” said Amador. “We fund police patrols, street cleaning programs, graffiti clean-ups and many other events directed towards children and families as well as the our business community. We would love you to join us on this beautiful course for a great day of golf,” he said.

The Annual Golf Outing will kick off with a shotgun start at 9 AM, registration will begin at 7:30 AM while a continental breakfast is served, sponsored by Trinitas Regional Medical Center. Golfers will have the opportunity to warm up at the new 52-booth driving range or partake in an exciting putting contest before taking to the links where a “closest to the pin” “longest drive” and the two aforementioned “hole-in-one” contests will be held. At the conclusion of the tournament, the EAP will host a Barbecue Luncheon that will run from 2:30-4:30 p.m. where the awards ceremony will take place.
