By Bus or Train: Public transportation to Elizabeth is also convenient through a wide range of NJ Transit Buses and Trains. For Elizabeth Avenue, take the train to the NJ Transit and Amtrak train station at Broad Street, Elizabeth. The train ride to Manhattan is 35 minutes and the ride from Trenton is 55 minutes. The station is served by the North Jersey Coast Line and Princeton Branch train lines, which are only minutes away from Newark Liberty International Airport’s Air Train and multiple points north and south such as Newark, North Elizabeth, Linden, Rahway, Avenel, Woodbridge, Edison, Metuchen, Perth Amboy, etc. The Broad Street train station is only 4 blocks from The Market at Elizabeth Avenue.
