| Since 1929, Centanni's Prime Meats has provided the local community with the choicest cuts. Proprietor Michael Centanni is the 3rd generation owner/operator and has been working at Centanni's since 1961. I learned everything about the business right here, from my grandfather and father, he says. The spotless store is a throwback of sorts: Pictures of racehorses adorn on the walls, and employees often take orders at a butcher block counter. Centanni's is noted for its homemade Italian sausage, veal cutlets (Italian style), Angus beef and custom freezer orders. During the holiday season, Centanni's fresh ham and prime rib are its best sellers. |
