The Alvarez Family founded Alvarez Cafe more than 30 years ago. They brought with them the rich recipes of Cuban cuisine, notably the very popular Cuban sandwiches. We learned from a master chef in Cuba, says Brother tandem Carlos and Luis Alvarez, It's Cuban cuisine at its best. Roast pork, steaks, paella, ajiaoco (homemade stew soup) and daily specials round out the menu. Steaks, chops and seafood are also featured items on a very large menu. Cocktails are also served, as well as the very popular tropical flavored milkshakes.
